Our weekly newspaper, The Independent, did a feature story on the hog killing that happened out here on the land in mid-December. Indy photographer Derek Anderson, took some powerful photos and the piece he wrote, "Meat the old-fashioned way: Bridging generations and communities with links in the food chain" is real beautiful too.
